EXTERIOR pays homage to architecture and signage through the lens of three diverse Bay Area contemporaries.

Influenced by Modernism, Michael Murphy illustrates the architecture and culture of the movement with boldly colored prints and muted acrylic paintings.

Utilizing oils, acrylics and enamels, Nate Geare expands on his large-scale series, “Barnisms” based on a discipline of postmodern architecture known as, Deconstructivism.

Vintage neon signs are the primary focus of the photorealistic oils masterfully painted by Terry Thompson.
