For too long, grassroots leaders have had to operate in survival mode. By centering trust, storytelling, and genuine relationships, we can open the door to something new: a more connected, more equitable ecosystem where grassroots leaders aren't an afterthought. They're the point.
Our Vision
The Marin Accelerator is designed to change what philanthropy in Marin looks like so that grassroots organizations are better connected and set up for success. This year-long program provides leaders with world-class branding support and hands-on fundraising and storytelling coaching, while building space for them to breathe, reflect, and remember why their work matters.
Our Approach
The Accelerator is designed to create real results for organizations and the leaders behind them. Through immersive retreats, inspired marketing tools, and deep coaching, leaders will walk away with a renewed sense of what's possible for their work, greater confidence, and stronger relationships to attract real resources and tell their stories with conviction.
Our Involvement
MCF participates not just as a funder for the Accelerator, but also as a learning partner, gaining real insight into what it takes for grassroots organizations to expand capacity and thrive. Through this work, we’ll support and learn from organizations by:
