Applications Now Available for 2023 Pirkle Jones Fund Visual Artist Support Program Grant

Through an annual $50,000 competitive grant from its Visual Artist Support Program (VASP), the Pirkle Jones Fund aims to recognize, encourage and nurture artistic imagination and drive, commitment to the creative process, aesthetic standards and future artistic potential. The Pirkle Jones Fund of Marin Community Foundation (formerly the Pirkle Jones Foundation) will bestow the individual grant to an emerging or mid-career visual artist residing in Marin County. This grant is offered to support a promising artist and may be used for any purpose, including living expenses. Last year, Raylene Gorum, a resident of Sausalito, was the twelfth recipient of a grant from its Visual Artist Support Program.

Application Deadline: November 3, 2023 – all applications must be submitted on or before this date for consideration.

The award will be announced by on or before December 1, 2023.
