The William W. Thompson Fund for Housing honors the long commitment to affordable housing by William Thompson, who serves on the board of one of the largest nonprofit developers in the Western U.S. The fund's goal is to promote education and foster communication on the subjects of multi-family and affordable housing, and to improve the timeframe and efficiency in producing affordable housing that is responsive to local needs and concerns. The fund will promote community education and discussion about these issues, with an initial focus on Marin County.
