Professional Advisor Committee

We believe it’s critical to stay closely connected to our professional advisor partners. Their clients are our donors, and we share the responsibility for providing them with superlative service and informed advice.

So several years ago, MCF established its Professional Advisor Committee. Comprised of experts in their respective fields, this small group meets with our Philanthropic Planning team on a quarterly basis with one simple goal: to share knowledge that can help each member better serve their constituents. The committee comprises a mix of job functions, to represent a variety of perspectives. These include wealth advisors, investment managers, attorneys, and finance and tax experts.

Through honest feedback and candid conversation, the committee has provided us with terrific insights that have allowed us to hone our offerings and communications. Equally, the gatherings enable our advisors to keep abreast of the rapidly-moving world of philanthropy, particularly complex financial and taxation aspects and giving trends.
