The following are usage requirements of the Marin Community Foundation (MCF) logo as pertains to resolution, size, proportion, color, and contrast to ensure consistency and maintenance of the Foundation’s professional identity.
Resolution/Size/Proportion
To ensure proper resolution, use only the EPS formatted logos (downloadable below) for print publication, and the GIF formatted logos (downloadable below) for websites.
Because the logo's text must be legible, the logo should be a minimum of one and one-half inches wide in print.
Minimum blank space surrrounding the logo should be no less than the dimension of the bottom three lines of the waveform (above the words “Marin Community Foundation”) on all four sides of the logo.
No additional embellishments or boxes should ever used with the logo. Please do not use any portion of the MCF website banner as a logo or presentation graphic.
Never present the logo out of proportion or on an angle.
Color/Contrast
The MCF logo consists of two colors, PMS 5767 and Black. It is imperative that custom PMS ink be used whenever the logo is printed in color. (Because of the additional cost of spot color printing, feel free to use a black version instead.)
The black-only version of the logo may be used on white or on light-colored paper.
The logo may be reversed-out (in white on a dark background) if there is sufficient contrast.
